(Unless you can think of another franchise that fits that clue.)
In a previous video, Grubb discussed how EA was working on reviving an ‘established IP’ but this is the first time he’s specifically hinted at Dead Space. Grubb proved to be accurate about a number of announcements at E3 this year, but if his hints are meant to be subtle they really don’t seem that way, with the comment that, ‘We’re going to see it, if we’re not dead first’. This latest one comes from VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb, who claims that EA will unveil a new title at EA Play. It’s been eight years since the release of Dead Space 3 and for much of that time fans have been pinning their hopes for a new game on one rumour or another. They’ll use that as a venue to reveal new details of upcoming games and unveil news ones… possibly including a revival of Dead Space. Like many companies, EA wasn’t at E3 2021 but they do have an EA Play event scheduled for July 22.
EA is reportedly planning to announce the revival of ‘an established IP’ at their EA Play event in July, and it sounds like Dead Space.
